priscilla & clint : engaged!
love, truly is, the most beautiful thing.
last night i had the most wonderful time photographing priscilla and clint who are newly engaged. their happiness and love for one another is absolutely intoxicating! such a wonderful thing to capture for the photographer. such a wonderful thing just to be around. and what a special thing to be trusted with.
thank you, thank you priscilla and clint, for giving me the opportunity to take these photos. i hope you think they are as special as i do.
the light could not have been more perfect. although we were still hanging around 95 degrees at 7pm, you’d never know it by looking at the gorgeous couple. me, on the other hand... well, i was sweating bullets. we headed to the human rights/Anne Frank memorial, downtown boise and ventured onto the historical (now pedestrian) bridge. onlookers and passerbyers (is that a word?) were gracious and gave us room to capture some fabulous shots on the bridge. and a special thanks to gretchen for holding my reflectors just so. perfect. all of it. couldn’t have been better.
some of my favorites, as always, are the more intimate shots where the light is soft and no one is posing for the camera. it’s the intimacy of these images that are so special and rewarding for me, as an artist. again, thank you for trusting me with those moments.
enjoy.
