well, the extreme elation of sending my kids to school at the end of a long, hot summer has worn off.
don't get me wrong. i still love that they are going to school and i'm having some time to myself. but the newness is wearing off. the days are getting shorter and it's starting to feel like the regular chaos of Fall is taking it's toll.
but looking at these pictures of my kids and neighbor kids reminds me of those squeaky clean, polished little people and how happy i was to send them off. now i just really want us to all stay in our pajamas and hang out at home all day... for several days.

just look at those spit-shined children... gorgeous. and you know that last one... she's gonna be trouble, and i have a feeling it won't be just for her parents! (& i bet they are saying the same thing about the first one!)
